We chose a Microshift 9-speed 11-42T cassette for an extended gear range, so your junior mountain biker will have the confidence to tackle even more challenging climbs. A thinner handlebar and grips make it easier for small hands to hold on, steer and brake. And grippy tyres, powerful brakes and safe handling round out a package that your young rider will love. ALUMINIUM SUPERLITE CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame.
